• Exterior Repairs - Frames and Step

  Location: Beeston

  Here are several decayed exterior windows, along with a door step that I repaired and re-painted for a customer in Beeston, Nottingham.
  
  I wasn't actually aware of the rot until I started prodding about at the frames etc with a scraper.
  Some windows had previously been replaced and therefore needed the standard clean, rubdown and re-paint. However, at least 2 of the decayed frames would either need replacing or restored, back to a good condition.

• Toilet - Wallpapering

  Location: Wollaton, Nottingham

  Here is another fine example of my wallpapering, completed for a lovely customer in Wollaton. The walls had previously been painted with a value Matt Emulsion, which made the surface porous. With that I mind, I applied a PVA solution to seal the walls. This also helps with hanging the paper, as it can be maneuvered more easily, rather than the walls sucking the paste off the paper and turning the task into a complete disaster.

• Kitchen and Utility Room Decorating

  Location: Wilford Village, Nottingham

  Here is my latest project of a kitchen and utility room, over in wilford village. The kitchen itself is from 'Percelanosa' with  'Quartz' work surfaces. With this in mind, it was important to get as much of the painting completed before the kitchen was fitted.
  
  Everything is fresh plastered and so was sealed accordingly. The finish paints are Farrow & Ball  'Downpipe Grey' and 'Pointing' mixed into a Dulux Diamond Matt.

• Skimming - Toilet

  Location: Bramcote

  This is a small project completed in Bramcote, December 2019
  It consisted of stripping the wallpaper in a small toilet, skimming the walls and re-painting.
  
  Once the walls were stripped it was evident that they required a little more than just lining, they were in poor condition. I made the decision to re-skim the majority of the toilet and also skim over an angled artex ceiling.

• Marvel Feature Wall

  Location: Long Eaton Nottingham

  Here is a great example of my wallpapering, completed around Christmas - 2019
  
  The first step to achieving the best possible finish with this/any wallpaper was to thoroughly prep and cross-line the walls with a premium grade lining paper. 
  
  This job required a fair bit of patience as there were several factors that made the hanging of this wallpaper quite challenging.

• Residential decorating

  Location: Parkside, Wollaton, Nottingham

  These are the 'before' photographs of a hall-stairs-landing and also a living area in the same property. I have stripped off all the old wallpaper ready to start filling, caulking, sanding and sealing ready to start lining with a 1700 grade paper. 
  These are a few of the repairs that I had to make before lining the walls on the staircase. Some holes required an expandable foam and some repairs required drilling sections of wood to the structure within the wall to create a base for filling. For...
