Here is a great example of my wallpapering, completed around Christmas - 2019

The first step to achieving the best possible finish with this/any wallpaper was to thoroughly prep and cross-line the walls with a premium grade lining paper.

This job required a fair bit of patience as there were several factors that made the hanging of this wallpaper quite challenging.

The angled ceilings with a curve at the apex create a wall, perfect for a wallpaper feature, but attention to detail was essential, especially when trimming the top sections of the wallpaper. I needed to achieve a clean cut whilst making sure the paper fit snug into the corner. This can be awkward, particularly on angled walls, as the large cut off sections are an hindrance and cause you to either over/under trim your wall covering. Furthermore the large windows in the center of the wall can create all sorts of problems. Starting at the longest section to the left of the window, i carefully planned how the first drop would influence the rest of the installation. I then adjusted the initial plum line in order to make sure i could wrap the wallpaper into the window recess. It is also vital that everything remains square as you work across the window section. I carefully placed a plum line on the wall before installing the first length of paper. I worked from left to right, above the window and joined the paper below the sill. Not keeping everything square would have resulted in either a gap or an overlap where the paper meets to complete the section.

In addition, I had to pick a 'Feature' on the left side of the wallpaper and use a spirit level to carry this 'feature' through to the next length. This was useful to ensure the pattern remained uniform. As you can see from the last image, there is no definitive match point at the end of the paper.

Although the factors above made the work complicated, they helped create a very unique feature wall. Both myself and the customer are very pleased with the results.
